Life is like a wild ride with surprises around every corner, some we see coming, and others that leave us feeling a bit shaken. When life takes an unexpected turn, it can really throw us off balance. But there's a powerful way to regain your footing: by taking a step back, thinking things over, and having a chat with a counsellor.
I truly believe that deep down, we all have a natural tendency to heal. Everything we do, every decision we make, is like a small step in the direction of feeling better. Sometimes, that means we have to let go of old habits that used to work for us and try out new ways of doing things that match our values and what we need right now.
These changes might seem tiny at first, but even the smallest shifts can lead to big changes in the long run.
I've been working as a counsellor and art therapist for 13 years now. I moved to the amazing mountain town of Golden, BC, seven years ago, and it's been my home ever since. When I'm not helping people on their healing journeys, I'm out exploring the valley with my family, getting creative with art, and enjoying some skiing.
So, if you're ready to face life's ups and downs with a little extra support, I'm here for you. Let's work together to make those meaningful changes happen.
